In 1998 Ron started Southern Utah Scenic Tours to take day tours from the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah, to Zion and Bryce National Parks. Ron has lived in Utah most of his life and has spent as much time as possible in and around these beautiful national parks. In starting his company, it was his goal to share the beauty of this unique state with others and to provide a travel experience that would exceed their expectations. Ron achieved this goal by ensuring that the company offers excellent customer service, personable and professional guides, and a quality tour experience.

The success of these day trips quickly expanded to multi-day/park tours. The quality of the services the company offers has resulted in its clients requesting Southern Utah Scenic Tours to also take them to Yellowstone, the Canadian Rockies, Alaska, Hawaii, and the California and Oregon coasts. Ron continues to develop the business by always looking for new and exciting places to visit. The clients also continue to expand. As the Internet became an effective means of planning tours, we now serve individuals and groups from all over the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, and Europe. And we still achieve the same goal: to provide a travel experience that exceeds our clients' expectations.

Ron has a background in organizational training and change and has taught over 600 seminars related to personal growth and development. His love of the Southwest has inspired him to learn about its geological development and history, and its folklore and native inhabitants.
